Puebla and Cholula

Pick up at your hotel and drive to the north of the city to take the highway to Puebla about 120 kms. We visit first Cholula, during the pre-hispanic period this was the largest Pyramid of Mexico, and now at the top is a church, symbol of the Spanish Conquest. After the visit we continue to Puebla, a beautiful colonial city with its buildings decorated with mosaic. Puebla was a very important place during the battle of the 5 of May, 1862 when the Mexican Army defeat the French in the fortess of Loreto and Guadalupe. In Puebla we visit the Cathedral, the Church of Santo Domingo with the “Chapel of the Rosary” all decorated in barroque style, the market of “El Pariam”, and you can taste the typical dish of Puebla “The Mole”, is a sauce with different kinds of chile, sugar, almonds, salt and chocolate, it is delicious. You have free time for lunch. (Lunch is not included). Drive back yo Mexico.
